Leave Module Enhancement:
Leave applications with dates for next year are deducted from current year's balance. This aims to have the employees and managers extend leave management up to the following set leave year.
Note: Applying leave for dates including the 2 leave years in a date range is not allowed, applying separately is possible. (5th April is the leave year, applying 4-6 April is not permitted)
How does this Feature work?
Go to Management > Settings > Company Settings > Workflows. Add Company Setting for Leave Start duration, select the leave year start day and month.
Scenarios and guidelines:
Employee can select any date range from
1st July 2022 to 30th June 2023
1st July 2023 to 30th June 2024
and so on.....
But they can't select date ranges like
29th June 2022 to 30th August 2023
1st June 2023 to 1st July 2024
and so on.....

Converting shift to leave
If the published shifts covers the leave year date, the shift can't be converted to leave.
5th April is the set leave year -
Applying leave on manager portal
5th April is the set leave year -
Apply normal and recurring leave on employee portal / mobile app
5th April is the set leave year
10 April is the Leaver year start date.
