Overview:
The risk of malware infection and potential compromise of the internal network can be effectively alleviated, safeguarding the overall security of Roubler application with our anti-virus checks on file uploads.
We had our testing phase to identified issues on file uploads where users were able to upload files of any format, including those containing a harmless Anti-Virus test string called "eicar" 4. The purpose of this test string is to trigger detection by Anti-Virus scanners.
Our anti-virus checks should not allow uploading files containing the "eicar"that may created a serious security vulnerability, as potentially infected files could be opened by Roubler staff, including administrators, leading to further infection within the internal network or backend systems.
Note that upload of documents in various sections as per below is still seamless.
