Overview:
The purpose of this document is to provide our customers with essential information they need to know to onboard employees successfully after recent changes.
Additionally, we will outline the subsequent steps we are taking to devise long-term solutions to some of the challenges that have been experienced in recent weeks.
What Changed & Why:
1. When an employee onboards with Roubler, they now enter the email address they want to use and set their password, where prior this was linked to whichever email their employer sent the onboarding link to. The employee can select the email address they want to use for Roubler and this may differ to the one that was entered when initiating onboarding.
2. An employee will not receive notifications including password resets until they have clicked 'Create My Account' on their onboarding invitation and set up their account.
3. Once the employee has successfully authenticated their email and logged into Roubler, their email address that is used for logging in is locked down and cannot be changed unless a request is logged with Roubler Support. The employee must remember their login email address and managers can no longer reset to pin.
These changes were made to enhance employee profile security and data privacy.
