Following our recent releases, we have made a few more enhancements in the employee profile view for both the manager and employee to utilise self-service.
As we have separated the employee's primary email and username for the employee login in v9.8, we have made updating the employee's username handy via the portal. This option will only be available in the employee view for security purposes. However, both Admin and Partner are given a view only access to help users confirm the current username.
How it works?
- To do this, go to My profile > Settings > Login Username > side panel appears showing the current username and fields to add the new username then verify with the password.
- Admin & Partner can only view the current username/login name in a side-panel
