Management > Payroll > Payroll Settings > Public Holiday
Please note there are two steps required to set up public holidays in Roubler. The first step is to set up public holidays so they are reflected in the roster, and when an employee takes leave, as per the instructions below.
The second step is to set up how these public holidays work with payroll as per the instructions below.
- Check to see if the public holiday exists already. Most public holidays will be shown automatically, however any local holidays will need to be added.
- Ensure the settings for the holiday are configured correctly by checking the right state or locations are selected.
- To add a public holiday:
- Click on the relevant date you'd like to add a public holiday to.
- Enter a Description, Notes (if applicable), State/s and/or Specific locations, in line with what you entered under Management Settings. If you want a public holiday to apply to certain locations only, ensure you do not select the state the location/s are in (as this will result in the holiday being applied to all locations in that state).
- Click Save
