Management > Payroll > Payroll Settings > Public Holiday
Please note there are two steps required to set up public holidays in Roubler each set up in separate sections
- The first step is to set up public holidays so they are reflected in the roster, and when an employee takes leave. Refer Management-settings-Public-holidays-AU-NZ-UK
- The second step is to set up how these public holidays are applied in the payrun, per the instructions below.
- Check to see if the public holiday exists already. Most public holidays will be shown automatically, however any local holidays will need to be added.
- Ensure the settings for the holiday are configured correctly by checking the right state or locations are selected.
- To add a public holiday:
- Click on the relevant date you'd like to add a public holiday to.
- Enter a Description, Notes (if applicable), State/s and/or Specific locations, in line with what you entered under Management Settings. If you want a public holiday to apply to certain locations only, ensure you do not select the state the location/s are in (as this will result in the holiday being applied to all locations in that state).
- For REGIONAL public holidays you will need to add the Company location that observes that public
- Click Save
