What’s new?
Improvements to timesheets
Company admins can now set an alert to appear when the clock in or clock out times fall outside the usual grace period. This alert helps identify instances of time theft, highlighting when you may need to check times with additional scrutiny.
The timesheet screen can now be filtered by:

Improvements to employee terminations

Managers are now notified of a termination

Employees can now be re-hired with an advanced capability, that allows a payroll manager to:

Change employee details during a re-hire

Request that the employee re-undergo onboarding (which triggers an invite for the employee to re-undergo onboarding, and will activate the employee once onboarding has been completed)

Create a new profile for the employee in the payroll platform (AU, NZ and UK customers only)

Managers are notified when an employee is re-hired or reinstated

A re-hired employee can see their historical payslips even if they have multiple payroll profiles associated with their employee record

An employee receives a notification when they are reactivated or re-hired
European localisation
Eastern European localisation has been added to the platform, including:

Setting the locale for Eastern Europe (Cyprus) at the root location

Setting the timezone for Eastern Europe at a location
-
Displaying the Euro currency when the Eastern European locale is set for a company

What’s fixed?

Simplepay companies now update only changed fields when sending employee information to Simplepay. This corrects an issue in Simplepay where a full list of custom fields needs to be provided each time an update is sent to Simplepay

Fixed an issue where the termination date is now reset when a terminated employee is reinstated or rehired
-
Labour efficiency % is now displayed in the schedule tabular breakdown table
-
Hours per day and days per week fields are now removed when switching from Full/Part time to Casual employment type for MYOB customers
