Permissions: Manager
Any changes to company settings made will be globally, across your entire business.

Permissions provide businesses with control over which groups of employees or managers can access certain modules or sections within the Roubler system. This can be used instead of, or in conjunction with, the default permissions within the system. For details of default permissions, see this article.
Create custom permissions/permission groups
Note: Custom permissions must be applied to specific locations in order for them to work.
- Go to Management > Settings > Manage Permissions
- Click Add new
- Enter a Name for the permission group
- Enter a Description of the permission group
- Check the specific permissions you want to apply to permission group. Full details are available below.
- Click Save

Leave

Approve leave requests
- enables Leave at the top navigation and Leave tile on the dashboard
- allows user to approve and decline leave request

View leave balances
- allows user to see leave balance when adding / editing leave requests
- Approve leave requests MUST be enabled

Create and update leave requests
- allows user to add and update leave requests

- View full employee information

Business intelligence
- View business intelligence
- enables Business Intelligence link in Management dropdown
- allows user to use the functionalities within the BI section
Document library
- View document library
- enables Documents link in Management dropdown and tile on dashboard
- allows user to see ALL shared documents
- Create and update documents in the document library
- allows user to perform CRUD in the Documents section
Employee management
- View basic employees information - MUST be ticked in every custom permission to access Roubler functionality.
- enables Employees link in Management dropdown
- allows user to see the following tabs in the employee profile:
- Personal Information
- Medical / Emergency Contact
- View full employees information
- gives access to Dashboard
- allows user to see other employee-related tabs in the employee profile
- Address Information
- Additional Information
- Documents & Notes
- Leave and Unavailability
- Licences and Training

- Enables access to view and update licenses and training materials which have been uploaded by employees.

- Enables access to potentially sensitive information (such as vaccination status).

- Archive employees

Expense claims
- Approve expense request
- allows user to approve or decline expense requests
- Create and Update expense request MUST be enabled
- can also approve or decline expense requests in employee profile given the following are enabled

- allows user to add and edit expense requests

Learning academy
- Allow access to learning portal

- Basic Payroll Management
- enables Payroll link in Management dropdown and tile on dashboard
- allows user to view Payroll related tabs in employee profile
- unlocks the capability to Commit and Submit timesheets
- can access Payroll reporting given the View reporting is enabled

- adds Leave & Unavailability among the viewable tiles on own profile
- allows user to add, edit and delete own leave request
- View own employee profile MUST be enabled
- View own employee expenses
- adds Expenses among the viewable tiles on own profile

- Employee can view timesheet My Profile
