Overview:
It has been challenging to provide detailed information information about changes made to certain data, particularly data related to employees. The current system only keeps track of the most recent changes, which is sometimes insufficient to address customer inquiries or concerns.
To address this issue, we have added Employee level audit log in the Reporting module -- Analysis section. This allows authorised users (specifically Admins and those with higher levels of authorisation) to view audit logs. These audit logs should capture a history of updates to the data, providing details such as:
-
Who made the update: This indicates which user or administrator made the change. It's important for accountability and identifying responsible parties.
-
When they made it: This timestamp records the date and time when the update was executed. It's crucial for tracking the timeline of changes.
-
What data was changed: This part should specify exactly what data fields were modified during the update. It provides transparency regarding the nature of the changes.
Generally, Admin users can only see who made the changes in the employee profile however specific information will have to requested to Roubler support to interpret the data seen below.
In the employee profile, authorised users can view and click the employee ID that will be redirected to audit log report.
Note: Changes made in employee management, changes in own profile and changes in mobile are recorded.
