As a manager, if a timesheet alert is set to dismissible, you have the ability to dismiss that alert and proceed on actioning the timesheet.
It is important to note that timesheets set to auto-approve will not be approved if there is a blocked alert against that timesheet.
Timesheet Alerts - Without Notes Required
Timesheet alerts can be set as dismissible. When a timesheet alert is set as dismissible you can mouse over to it and click (x) to remove it. This action will then show when the alert was dismissed and by who.
Click the "x" button on the alert to be dissmissed.
A popup alert message will then appear confirming the action, click on the Submit button.
Upon clicking on the OK button, the dismissed timestamp will be recorded against the alert.
Timesheet Alerts - With Notes Required
Timesheet alerts can be set as dismissible with a note required upon dismissal. When a timesheet alert is set as dismissible you can mouse over to it and click (x) to remove it. This action will then show when the alert was dismissed, by who and the note recorded.
Click the "x" button on the alert to be dismissed.
A popup alert message will then appear confirming the action. Enter the reason for dismissing the alert and then click on the Submit button.
Upon clicking on the OK button, the dismissed timestamp and note will be recorded against the alert.
