This release includes Key Feature improvements for notification management & a new setting for leave costing (additional notification improvements will be coming later in 2025).
In addition to the above, there are a large number of User Experience Improvements surrounding error handling, enhanced API functionality, streamlined timesheet submissions with improved error reporting, conditional display of employee documents based on residency status, detailed feedback for shift unassignments, expanded options for costing and leave on-costs, support for $0-cost timesheets, and the option for employees to add notes when accepting shift requests.

Release Key Features
Configurable default notification settings for new locations
Managers and admins can now set the default notifications settings for new locations for each employee. The "Notification Settings" screen under an employee's record is now separated into two tables. The bottom one contains all of the current locations and their individual notification toggles. You can still toggle each category on or off for all current locations by toggling the checkboxes in the "Notifications from all locations".
The top table includes the existing ability to manage settings for direct reports, as well as the new "Default for new locations" row. In the past, if a location was created after you configured notification settings, that new location had notifications turned "on" for all categories. This new feature allows you to set the default notification settings for new locations that may be created in future.
Notification settings for existing locations will remain the same.
For new locations, notifications will be disabled by default, you will need to enable them manually if you wish to receive notifications.

NEW company setting to toggle leave costing
You can now decide whether you want leave to be costed based on a new toggle. This toggle is accessible in Company Settings -> Features -> Cost Leave Requests.
Toggling this setting on means that leave requests are costed on the roster, timesheets, and business intelligence screen.

Please note that this will only affect companies that update their annual leave and sick leave on-cost settings to 0%. To apply these changes, you will need to re-cost the shifts/timesheets.

User Experience Improvements
- Leave balance in the employee profile will now deduct the correct amount of approved timesheets and show the correct leave balances. Date picker will be hidden if the 'As of last pay run' is ticked
- Improvement to bank account validation messages when saving a bank account, Roubler will prevent gaps/spaces when saving to ensure the format is correct.
- MYOB: Extra bank accounts can now be removed on the profile 'bank accounts' section without the user needing to have "payroll" permissions
- On-cost settings that have been intentionally set with 0% for Annual leave and Sick leave will now correctly use these values
- The 'Unauthorized' Error during the Employee Invite process has been corrected
- Child and descendant locations will no longer be returned in the parent drop down when editing a location
- Employees with payroll permission are automatically opted in to MFA
