We are excited to announce the upcoming release of several key updates and improvements designed to enhance your experience with Roubler. This release features the introduction of a new clock event for changing locations when employees are working within multiple locations within a shift.
In addition to the above, we have also added the 'Default ID Column' into most of our tables to assist with exporting certain lists.
In response to user feedback, we have implemented several user experience improvements which are outlined in further detail below.
These updates underscore our commitment to providing you with user-friendly and efficient solutions tailored to your needs.
Release Key Features
- Added new clock event for changing locations [Important!]
A new option of Transfer Location has been added to the clock events available on the Clock App, this will appear for businesses who have enabled the Company Setting to allow employees to select a location to clock in to. It will allow employees working in multiple locations within a shift to go through the clocking flow once only when switching, rather than twice (for clocking out, then into the new location).
Clock events of this type are handled as both a clock out and clock in when building timesheets from clock events (eg. one transfer event within a shift will result in two separate timesheets, one for each location). This will be the case for either automatically generated or manually completed timesheets.
Note: This feature is only available for customers using the current clock app and with the company setting allowing employees to select their clock in location switched on. It is not supported on the legacy clock app.
