How to navigate to Dashboard Notifications
If you have access to Dashboard Notifications you can go to the page from Management > Settings > Notifications On Dashboard. You will be taken to the notifications page and you'll see a list of notifications.
Creating a Dashboard Notification
To create a new notification, click the add [ + ] button. The modal should open.
Dismissible or Not Dismissible
You can choose if a notification is dismissible or not dismissible. When a notification is dismissible, the viewer can click on the the 'Dismiss' button whenever they choose to. If the notification is not dismissible an expiration date is required. Notifications will be automatically dismissed when the expiration date has elapsed.
Adding a link
You can optionally add a link to an article or website on a notification.
Selecting Company to Send To
You can either send to all companies or select only specific companies.
Selecting Permission Level
You can select on what permission level you want the notification to be visible to. E.g. "View own Employee Profile" can be selected if you want to notify everyone as everyone has this access. Or you can select "Payroll Management" to notify payroll managers about a new financial compliance article.
Notifications Report
To see who's viewed or dismissed the notifications go to Management > Reporting > Employee >Dashboard Notifications Report. Here you can see a summary.
