Cost centres is a feature in Roubler that allows you to associate a cost with shifts so you can get a view of projected vs. actual costs for a specific area of the business, or a specific event.
How do I enable this feature?
To enable cost centres, go to Management > Settings > Company Settings.
Under Features, select "Enable cost centres", then select "Save".
How do I create a cost centre?
- Go to Management > Settings > Cost Centres
- Click the + button
- Enter the name and sales to associate with the new cost centre
Note: The currency is already localised to your country - Select "Save"
- Your cost centre will now display as a list with the following fields:
- Name: Name of the cost centre for your reference
- Shifts: The number of shifts associated with this cost centre
- Sales: The number of sales associated with this cost centre
- Hidden: Yes or No. This will determine if the cost centre is hidden from use in the schedule.
How do I assign shifts to a cost centre?

Employee Profile (v9.3)
>when assigned in employee profile's Finance and Payroll tab
>will only populate in a shift under roster when manually adding a shift, the cost centre assigned to the employee will automatically populate. -
Roster section
>cost centre when adding standard hours in the roster will not capture the employee's assigned cost centre
>manually creating a shift will auto populate the employee's assigned cost center- Add/Edit a shift
- Check the box that says "Show advanced"
- Under "Cost Centre", choose the relevant cost centre you want to use
- Select "Save". OR
- Drag and drop a shift to the cost centre
>You can also assign shifts by grouping the schedule by cost centre and dragging to the cost centre's row.
>Your shifts are now assigned to the cost centre.

>manually adding/editing a timesheet will also auto populate the const centre assigned to an employee
>manually associating a shift to a timesheet will auto populate the shift's assigned cost centre to the timesheet
>auto timesheet or manual completion of Unassociated shifts and clock entries will NOT populate the cost centre - Location section (v9.3)

>Will be overridden by the cost centre associated to the employees profile (if there is a cost centre defined on the employee profile.
