What's New in version 24.8?
Previously, employees will have an issue with the onboarding process when the “Start” button is not clicked after creating a user account. Employee logs in at a later time to start onboarding but an error is thrown leaving the user account unassociated from the profile both via web and app.
In this release, the invite is auto accepted thus user account created will automatically associate with the employee profile and page will redirect to the onboarding screen. The “start” button has been removed.
If the employee decides to continue at a later time, employee will just have to log in to https://app.roubler.com/ and the onboarding steps will appear showing that employee is still in Onboarding state.
To confirm this, manager will have to check “Settings” tab in the employee profile to see that a username has been created.
The page to either “Create a New Account” or “Use Existing Account” will no longer appear as the profile has been linked to the initially created user account hence, employee will not be able to create a new user account to have it orphaned.
Take note that the “Re-send” envelope is not enabled at this time. Employee’s status and permission are both “Onboarding” and the contact email is added. These are all due to creating a user account.
If the employee revisits/reclicks the invite link., the “Use Existing Account” must be selected then Primary information will display and employee will have to click “Join Company”.
If the employee selected“Create a New Account”then used the same email address, an error message“Username already exists, Have you already created your account?”appears.
If the employee selected “Create a New Account” then used a different email address, an error message “Incorrect username or password” appears. The manager will have to get the username from the profile’s Settings tab to inform the employee what username to use to log in via https://app.roubler.com instead of going back to the invite link.
If the employee has an existing user account/ profile in another company, the “Use Existing Account” must be selected.
Resolved past issue:
A common issue when users log into Roubler they get the “hmn…something went wrong…” error which has now been resolved.
When employees have not completed the onboarding process and goes back at a later time, they should be able to resume the onboarding process by:
- Click the invite link
- Select use an existing user
- Click the ‘Start’ button.
Note: When a different existing employee clicks the invite link, an error will be thrown.
