Create a new shift
- Open the Roster via the main navigation bar
- Add a shift via one of the following options:
- Hover over the day/time required in the roster for the employee and click the Add (+ button)

Click Add (+ button) on the top right
- Complete the new shift fields
- Select the employee you would like to add to the shift, or leave it Unassigned
- Enter Position, Location, Shift start & end time and Break.
- Confirm if this is a Repeat shift. If so, select the days you would like the roster to repeat on
- Show Advanced option and enter additional information if required - End Type, Requirement, Work Type, Cost Centre or Employee Notes
- Click Save
Assign a shift that is currently unassigned
- Open the Roster via the main navigation bar
- Click on the unassigned shift you want to edit
- Click Edit
- Select the employee you would like to add to the shift
- Click Save
Edit a shift
- Open the Roster via the main navigation bar
- Click on the shift you want to edit:
- For published shifts: Click Unpublish > Edit
- For unpublished shifts: Click Edit
- Make the necessary edits
- Click Save
Copy a shift
Rosters can be copied via 2 methods. One allows for bulk copy function of a period of the roster depending on employment type. The other allows for the copy and paste of shifts on an individual basis.
Bulk Copy Function
- Open the Roster via the main navigation bar
- Click Copy
- The Copy Shifts modal will open. Here you can select which date range to copy shifts from, selectwhich employee types, select the date to copy the shifts to and set the shifts to assigned or unassigned. Selecting assigned will keep all the details of the copied shifts while unassigned will keep all except the employee.
Singular Copy Function
- Open the Roster via the main navigation bar
- Select the shift you want to copy
- Click the Copy icon
- Select the employee and day to paste the shift to
Unpublish a shift
- Open the Roster via the main navigation bar
- Click on the shift you want to unpublish
- Click Unpublish
Delete a shift
- Open the Roster via the main navigation bar
- Click on the shift you want to delete:
- For published shifts: Click Unpublish > Delete
- For unpublished shifts: Click Delete
- Click Delete
Delete a shift - employees with standard hours
- Open the Roster via the main navigation bar
- Click on the shift you want to delete
- Make sure it is unpublished
- Click Edit

Click More (... icon)
- Click Delete
- Click Delete again to confirm
Clear a roster/remove multiple shifts/delete multiple shifts
- Open the Roster via the main navigation bar
- Change the view so that ONLY the shifts you want to remove are visible
- Click More (... icon)
- Click Clear to delete ALL shifts on the current view.
